Sometimes it's useful to be able to add temporary car insurance for friends and family. With Cornhill Direct's additional, short term driver insurance, which comes as standard with our car policies, you can add extra drivers to your policy for up to 14 days at a time - if necessary, several times a year.
Perhaps the children are back for the holidays, and need to borrow the car. Or a neighbour's vehicle has gone to the mechanics and you'd like to lend them your car to do the shopping. Maybe you're moving home, and a friend has offered to drive the family while you look after the removal van.
