Subaru 'could prevent a car insurance claim'
Motorists considering buying a new vehicle may find a Subaru helps them avoid making a claim on their car insurance, it has been suggested.

According to the manufacturer, its all-wheel drive transmission can help to keep drivers safe on the road, regardless of whether it is snowing, raining or icy.

It stated models such as the new Impreza 330S - which feature the technology - allow motorists to find traction in conditions where two-wheel drive models would struggle.

Lawrence Good, the carmaker's managing director, commented: "Subaru's ability to provide reliable and safe driving - even in inclement weather conditions – highlights our commitment to delivering state-of-the-art safety to ... [our] customers."

He added the company's vehicles give drivers peace of mind even on "dismal winter days".

In related news, Subaru recently claimed its Boxer Diesel engine offers motorists a "fast, fun and frugal" driving experience.

The unit features in all models in the manufacturer's Outback, Forester and Legacy ranges.
