Naked burglar sentenced
Home Insurance News - Published: 21/01/2009

Daniel Davies got trapped while attempting to gain entry into a flat above a Wigan supermarket.
The fire service had to be called out to rescue the 20-year-old after passers by heard his shouts for help.
Mr Davies was freed from inside the chimneybreast wearing only trainers and socks.
A hooded top was retrieved from the roof and it is thought his trousers came off as he tried to wriggle out.
PC John Catterall from Wigan police said: "Although there may be a humorous side to this case, the fact is that Davies intended to burgle this flat."
He went on to remind householders keen to avoid a home insurance claim to make things difficult for criminals be locking doors and windows.
Meanwhile, Greater Manchester police recently declared Operation Guardian - a day of action against burglars - had been a success.
