Car insurance customers 'should prepare for more bad weather'
Car Insurance News - Published: 05/02/2009

According to the Highways Agency, significant snowfall has been predicted by the Met Office for several areas across the UK during the run-up to the weekend.
The organisation said, although it would do all it could to keep traffic running as smoothly as possible, motorists need to take extra care when out and about.
Derek Turner, director of network operations, warned even surfaces which have been treated can pose a threat in poor weather.
He stated: "When roads are slippery it can take up to ten times longer to stop - so watch your speed and leave more space from the vehicle in front."
At the end of 2008, the Highways Agency launched a campaign to highlight the dangers of taking to the road in bad weather without adequate preparation.
